Synchronicity
Synchronicity: the coincidence of events that seem related but are not obviously caused one by the other (Encarta Concise English Dictionary)
Passion: What It Means To Live With It
Passion can guide you, not just to live, but to live with
purpose. Throughout my professional career, I've had most
fortunate opportunities to associate with numerous high
profile individuals and organizations, including Forbes 400
successes, politicians, celebrity entertainers and athletes.
And I?ve learned to recognize that people who live with
passion exude alluring energies from within themselves
that seem to "magnetize" great people, situations and
circumstances into their lives.
Food for Thought
We all love picnics. They represent a fun time as we prepare
the food, the entertainment and the guest list. I think that the
main idea behind picnics is the eating! Everyone usually
brings some kind of a special treat that we all like to sample
and sometimes in excess. We are left feeling overly full and
tired. Forget the volley ball for a while and it's not good to go
swimming after eating, so let's just lay here for awhile and
rest. Our bodies will digest all this and maintain the
essential vitamins and proteins and minerals and
everything else turns to fat, or gets wasted. It's a good thing
that we dispose of this because we'd blow up otherwise.
But in all this eating, it's possible to be starving for another
food. I'm talking about spiritual food.
Create Resistance or Creative Acceptance
Resistance is not a new word, but for many of us awareness of resistance is new. In Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, resistance is defined: "to withstand, to strive against, to exert force in opposition, to counteract, defeat or frustrate."
Lance Armstrong an Inspiration
Lance Armstrong has already proven he is the greatest athlete ever in the present period. Many ask what drives a man to press on, where does such strength of character come from. How can so much dedication and commitment cause a man to persevere in all aspects of their life? Lance Armstrong is an inspiration to what we all as humans have in common. The level of human intent in our species is well documented and something every one of us possesses.

Eradicating The Heart of Poverty
Poverty can sometimes only be a state of mind, based on our perception and what we value in life. It is also a disheartening reality for many. The Webster dictionary describes poverty as having a chronic need for money and material goods. How many of us in America one of the richest countries in the world, have this chronic need to have and desire more and more?
Are You Really Living Your Life Today!
Yesterday I was but a child, looking. Looking ahead at a world of wonder. Everything was always ahead of me. All my dreams. All of my hopes. All my ambitions.
Everyday is a Gift, Open and Enjoy It
There is a bottle of perfume sitting on my dresser that I was given when I was ten years old! As you can tell I have pack rat tendencies! For me that pattern started as a young child. I could never bear to throw things away. There was more to it than not wanting to throw things away. I loved the feeling I had when I would receive something new, and would not want to spoil it by using it unless it was for something special. I would want to save it for a special occasion. A new dress would sit in the closet, until a special event to wear it. Perfume would sit on my dresser, not to be used for everyday, but for a special ?something?. This was a pattern in my life for many years.
He Who Laughs...Lasts---Where Has All The Laughter Gone?
I love to watch people at airports, malls and even
at our church. I wonder, what got them here? What
attracted those two people to be together at this
time? What makes that one tick or that one over
there work so hard? And sadly, I wonder where has
all the laughter gone?
Tim McGraw had it Right - Live Like You Are Dying!
Chorus:
An' he said: "I went ski diving, I went rocky
mountain climbing,
"I went two point seven seconds on a bull named Fu
Man Chu"
"And I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter,

An he said: "Some day, I hope you get the chance,
"To live like you were dyin'."
My name is Smarty Jones -- Embracing Gods Glory
Our deepest fear us not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond
measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that
most frightens us?..We are born to manifest the
glory of God that is within us?.And as we let our
own light shine, we unconsciously give other
people permission to do the same.

Do You Pay For Services Out of Obligation or Appreciation?
Have you ever paid for services rendered with a strong sense of appreciation, yet you weren't aware of the impact you had on the person who received the payment? Let me assure you it does make a difference. In fact, how you pay for any type of service sends an important message yet is often overlooked. I say that with certainty because recently I had the good fortune of working with a client who demonstrated the most impressive attitude and professionalism in regard to payment. I was so struck by his approach and attitude that I decided to share what transpired, hoping that others might take something of value away from my experience.

Personal Fear of Change and How to Change It!
It's interesting how we intellectually know that tomorrow will be different from
yesterday, or even different from today. We know this based on experience. Wasn't
it only yesterday computers started appearing on people's office desks? And now
today, some of those people who cursed the wretched new things, rage when theirs
or anyone else's computer is down! Tomorrow will not be the same as yesterday. We
know it. And yet, many of us go through change and feel battle fatigue, look worn
out, whine loudly.

Take Out Time -- To Just Be Thankful
While sitting here tonight, watching the conclusion of "There Are No Children Here," my heart pulsated as I heard a little innocent boy say, "When I wake up in the morning, I feel good that God gave me another chance to stay alive." This statement as innocent as it was, was true to him because of where he lived, and the lethal possibilities that he faced daily of being killed by someone's bullet.

Last week we started a five part series on The Seasons of Life.

Breaking Bonds
I am just out of high school, and I have come to realize what I really want is completely out of my family's standards. I come from an Indian family, where the standards are extremely high. Like in most Indian families, I am expected to become a doctor or engineer. To please them, I followed a course in high school for science and mathematics.

My friend Hugh Jeffries died. He was a wealthy man. His wealth was of the kind that you can take with you when you go. I do not know what his tangible estate measures. That is unimportant now. This I do know?his contributions to the lives of others were the true measure of his success and wealth.

Are We Ever Really Alone?
A new twist on a familiar quote - Chances are you've heard the term "If it's to be, it's up to me!" I happen to like this quote, the only thing about it is the more life experiences I pick up the more I tend to realize that it's actually only true to a degree.
