What If?
What If?
What if I can't?
What If I can?
What I should be thinking
Is it in God's plan? What if I couldn't?
What if I could?
Then I start to wonder
If I really should? What if I wouldn't?
What if I would?
What would I do,
If others really understood? What if, I am beautiful,
Just as I am.
That a scale means nothing,
When talking to a human. What if, I am worthy of love,
Just by being alive
What if,
I don't have to prove myself
Or feel ashamed to cry? What if,
By some chance,
All my negative thoughts were wrong.
That I am free to sing and dance,
That I am not weak or strong. What if, I did not make excuses,
I simply threw them out the door.
What if, I started getting honest,
and I started at my core. What If? When I am living in the present,
there is no reason for me to fear,
the what if's that surround me
and the negativity that is near. When I am in the here and now
and take some time to breathe,
I realize that anything is possible,

My Favorite Movies Journal
The movies--what a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! I love going to the movies. When I thought about why I look forward to going to a movie, I realized it was like meditation for me. The only thing that was on my mind was what was in front of me on the screen. I am in the moment when I am at a movie.
The Red Ribbon
Everyone wants a blue ribbon. Blue. First place. The best. Even kindergarteners want that blue ribbon. In sports, I was never a blue-ribbon person. In a race I was always last. In baseball I was as likely to get hit on the head as to drop the ball. In basketball I was fine as long as there weren't nine other players on the court with me. Where I got my horrible sports ability, I don't know, but I got it. And I got it early.
Stand Up!
One of the most undervalued blessings is God's will to make every individual a unique creation. It takes all kinds of people to do the great work of the Lord's kingdom, and it's a good thing that each of us has special talents, callings, and gifts to serve this purpose. first-ever, live television shots of the Moon's surface. Man

Have you ever had the opportunity to follow-up on a sales lead? Recently, I had such an opportunity to reconnect with an organization that I had been trying to secure as a client. Due to some new events and after multiple unreturned phone calls, I decided to ask for the decision maker within the department. After receiving the executive's name and finally making contact, I explained who I was, where I was from and how I could add value to their training request. A planned 5 minute telephone call turned into a 30 minute engaging dialogue where I learned even more about their needs and was asked in return if I had the experience to facilitate a second, separate engagement.
Nurture Your Heart
Pregnant with her first child, Jill could barely contain her excitement over the dreams and hopes she cherished for her unborn baby, whom she had already named Mara (she was so sure it was a girl). She practiced the lullabies she would sing as she nursed Mara close to her breast. She imagined how Mara's eyes would light up on Christmas mornings. She dreamt of Mara's first day at school, her first date, and her college graduation. She even imagined how Mara might look in her wedding gown.
