Just One Person We All Need
I understand that all the self made people of this world, be it: the late Abraham Lincoln, former President of the United States, who failed at most levels in his early life. This can de-motivate even the strongest people in the world, but he continued and became the President. Mr. Amitabh Bhachan who as a result of organizing one Miss World contest in India became deeply in debt. The media wrote him off and his career was finished. But today he is there, standing tall at the top of his career, the busiest star in the Indian cinema industry' Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, a cricket hope of billions of fans across the world. One failure among his successes and adverse comments are made on his technique and play, so every time he plays he has to prove his credibility and make his game speak for him. The late Dhirubhai Ambani who started a business in the late 60s with very little. Today his business empire which covers a wide range of industries is worth billions of US dollars, or anybody else whom you know of this ilk, always had at least one constant source of inspiration and motivation, perhaps living or not living, something or someone who kept them striving throughout their journey to the highest pinnacle of their career or profession. This one person can be anybody ? parent, brother or sister, friend, spouse or perhaps someone unseen. When Thomas Edison was in school, fourth grade, a note was sent to his mother by the school authorities. It said that your son is dumb, and we couldn't teach him. The mother replied, if you don't want to teach my son, it is your wish and decision but my Eddy is not dumb. What happened after that is a history. History is full of such examples, but we don't have time to read them all.. We all know that there is a difference between ordinary and extraordinary person. The difference is the word EXTRA. Extraordinary people put in extra efforts in whatever they do. However, the term extra can hide many roads. Failing or falling is not a crime. Foolproof plans do fail: the strongest of buildings do crash; the unsinkable sinks - human beings are no exceptions. Of those who fail or fall, only some have the capacity to stand again; of those who stand, only a few have the capacity to walk; of those who are able to walk, only one or two are strong enough to run. Those who can run are extraordinary in every sense. Like anybody else, you too may have big dreams and plans. I don't know what plans you have, so let me synchronize your dream with mine. I don't have the desire to be surrounded my millions or billions of people. I need only one person, any gender, any age or staying anywhere in world. I have many plans to complete, many dreams to fulfill. During the process of achieving I may fail or fall many times. At that time, in the midst of journey, many people will leave me, my friends, my relatives and perhaps my parents as well. Because they say in Hindi " Waqt Insan per aiesa bhi kabhi aata hai, rah mein chod kar saya bhi chala jata hai." (Sometimes, when the time is not good, even your shadow too decides to leave you.) Sometimes I may fall so hard or the disappointment will be so deep that I may give up or change my plans. At that time, this person (unknown till now) will come to me and say, " You can do it, and you have to do it. I have confidence in your capabilities and faith in your dreams". You too may need such person in your life, right? Looking forward to your comments and feedback !!! Sanjeev Sharma

Create Your Own Self Esteem - Part 1
Self-esteem is something that we all wish we had more of. Some of us go through our entire life feeling "self-esteem deficient". The constraints placed on us by low self esteem can feel so impenetrable that we find ourselves shrinking back from our dreams and accepting something less than desirable. This often results in feelings of emptiness, sadness, deprivation and a life not fully lived.

Withstand the Test of Time
As I drove home from work late one wintry afternoon, chilled from the freezing temperatures, I noticed the beautiful trees aligned on both sides of the road. Amongst the evergreens and the pine trees, one tree in particular caught my attention as it majestically stood, with its strong branches extending outward. This tree, bare from the many leaves that had once hung from its branches, daringly saluted the sky. I thought about how this deeply rooted tree stood year after year, withstanding the test of time through the altering seasons. I thought about how this tree stood -- regardless of the many changes brought about by the sultry summers and the chilling winters. Through all of the changes, through the bend of the limbs and the fallen leaves, there it stood -- through the test of time. Many times in your life, you may feel as though you've taken all that you can take -- that you have stood all that you can stand. You may feel like throwing your arms up and just giving up -- simply giving in. My friend, you are where you are today because of your ultimate strength to withstand in the midst of failing relationships, heartbreaks, getting no breaks, of so-called friends becoming your worst enemies. You are where you are today because you withstood all of those changes and many more. You are where you are today because of the many obstacles that you have already successfully surmounted. You are where you are today because you daringly saluted the circumstances, sometimes not even realizing how. The very strength that brought you here, will allow you to withstand your present circumstance. Don't throw in the towel. Don't give up on yourself. Don't give up on life. Just like this majestic tree, it is imperative that you are deeply rooted in your beliefs, in God, and in yourself -- so that when life-altering events come to weaken you, or to make you bend, you will daringly withstand the test of time. Attest today: I will no longer bend to the life-altering events that continuously come my way. I will stand strong, realizing that through my inner strength, and hope in God -- I will be like the majestic tree that withstands the test of time -- for I too -- am strong.

The TOP 5 Things That Keep You From Success
Everyone wants to be rich. A lot of people want to be successful. Yet, only a few people are willing to pay the price. There is a price to success as there is a price to failure. Here are 5 reasons that keep people from accomplishing their dreams.
The Essence Of Freedom
Life is too hard and too risky in the eyes of many. By contrast, others are such proponents of a virile existence, demanding great courage and giving great pride, that they are ready to leave the coziness of their home to scale Mount Everest and breast the elements for the sheer joy of conquering the summit. Whatever the perspective, the nature of things remains unchanged. There are rules, necessities and duties, and limits, possibilities and impossibilities. Until doom, one can accept them and make the best of them, much to one's pleasure and honor, or one can do the opposite and suffer the consequences. The choice between these two options is the very essence of freedom. Personally, I have no use for the second option: a self-inflicted misery that is without the slightest doubt a pitiable way of life.
